So 2011 is ending and I honestly can’t remember half of it. I guess I could check my facebook timeline to find out but I don’t think anything could compare to how the year ended.
My career seems to be finding a great path and I am busting at the seems to share new projects but alas I have to hold off a little longer. I will say one of them helped me cross off a resolution that has been on my list for quite some time.
Womanthology is coming soon and Hot Mess seems to have found its groove. Next year looks to be the busiest yet and I can’t wait.
But for me 2011 is all about one thing for me…I got married! This eclipsed everything for me this year. From the perfect intimate ceremony with friends and family, to the unbelievable gift of my parents wedding rings on our fingers, it was as close to perfect as it could get. Thanks to 2011, I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend by my side.

So with that mushy post I wish you all a very Happy New Year and here’s to a wonderful 2012!!

I am very sad to announce that I will not be attending Star Wars Fan Days this weekend. I have been working very hard to try and make all the pieces fall in place to make it possible to attend but unfortunately that did not happen. I am very sad I will not get to see friend and fans this weekend as I have not been in Dallas in two years. I look to get out there at the next possible opportunity.

Well some of you may have seen a few Twitter and Facebook posts about this but last week my web hosting company switched email servers and recreated my account. In doing so they accidentally deleted the old account without forwarding or downloading information, thus losing two and a half years worth of emails, correspondence and contacts. The previous server was unable to retrieve anything. Heart meet attack!

What does this mean to you reading this?

Those of you who have outstanding commissions or have been so kind as to send me scans of sketches from recent shows here is what I need from you.

Please forward your pay pal receipt and the commission request email. I cannot work on these pieces until I know what they are so the sooner the better.

Hello folks!

I bet you didn’t know I am doing a web strip! NO! Not stripping via Skype…An online cartoon strip!! I know, I know…Cat..doing a strip…that can’t be possible. Thanks to my beautiful fiancee, Amanda Deibert, who also is the writer and “star” of said strip, I am illustrating little stories each week! Loving every minute of it!

This is a one of a kind  card. This is the only way to acquire this card. It was NOT inserted into the packs. The regular pack inserted cards, 50 in all and 40 Sketchographs, are only available in Hobby Sets.  The art was created with Copic Markers.  There are no duplicates of this card.

As a bonus if the reserve is met, Cat will throw in signed copies of all 3 base cards from Galaxy 6

This was originally commissioned by Lucas Film as a design for a Celebration V t-shirt. The shirt ultimately was not made(unfortunately).

I took a few days while I was sick over the last month to finish the piece. I am pretty happy with the results. Hope you like it.

I just want to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday weekend! I also want to take a moment to express my gratitude to those who made this year so wonderful. To all the fans that came by at various shows this year, thank you for making this year a blast! I look forward to seeing you all next year. To all my friends, I cherished every moment with you all, whether it be in person or in cyberspace! You all mean so much to me and I am grateful to have you in my life. I wish you all great love and success in anything you do! You all deserve the best! To my family, I love you and miss you! We will spend quality time together soon!! I would not be who I am without you! To my wonderful fiancée, I could not be more thankful to have you in my life. I am looking forward to making millions of memories with you. I love you with all my heart and soul.
