I will be at the Dallas Comic Con held January 30-31, 2010 at the Richardson Civic Center. I will have new art, new prints and will be taking a limited number of convention commissions. I also have limited numbers of sketchbooks remaining from 2009 and 2006 (2007 and 2008 are sold out) as well as a limited number of One Night Stand mini comics available at my table.

All 75 Star Wars Galaxy V Sketch cards are now available for viewing in the Star Wars gallery. As soon as the base card art is cleared for viewing it will be added to the gallery as well.

One Night Stand hits stores today! They are in limited supply. If sales go well they are looking into a second printing.

Two hops. Three hours transit. Four solitary hours floating out in the middle of nowhere. The holonovels about the lives of undercover operatives brought a twinkle to Alex Winger’s blue eyes. Quick raids in and out of enemy territory weren’t the norm. Sometimes it was this: Sitting. Waiting. Watching.

Her wingman sat three thousand kilometers off to the port side of her X-wing. With any luck, they were far enough apart that at least one of them would survive if an Imperial armada jumped into the middle of their position. Surely the tip that Intel received about Imperial ships crossing this sector of space would pan out. Fifteen days on patrol had turned up no leads, and no one in Blue Squadron1 had seen hide nor hair of them.

Enjoy this quiet. It won’t last. It never does. Alex closed her eyes–

We’re celebrating Indy Comic Book Week and the release of ONE NIGHT STAND with a signing at the amazing Golden Apple Comics. This mini-comic is a series of one-page vignettes, a collaboration with 32 artists. All the stories center around a theme of casual sex and brief intimate encounters.

I will be joining Christopher Higginson, Sina Grace, and David Hopkins to sign the comic and wish you a happy New Year.

This past week Hyperspace members have had the full on Xim experience. A wonderful history and incredible stories have been written by Michael Kogge. I was given the opportunity to illustrate a few of them. This was an incredible project as it dealt with a history of a galaxy far far away. I was given the task of creating historical illustrations of  ”the future” ranging from classic theatre etching style to modern storyboards. There are five pieces in all which can be viewed  in my star wars gallery or for Hyperspace members you can view them in context and read the incredible story by clicking the  images.

Here is a piece of artwork I completed for a charity art auction to benefit the Old English Sheepdog Rescue Network of the South East. Auction is up and running so please bid to help the puppies!
