Dragon Con and The Art of Akira
August 31
Hello kiddies! Getting ready for Dragon Con this coming weekend in Atlanta GA. I will be doing the usual con sketches and will have a varaity of prints and original art available at my table. I will be located in the Comic and Pop Art Alley (in the Hyatt Regency) at table TBL 64. No word on panels yet but if it changes i will post about them.
In addition to the above i will have a limited edition print as part of the Art Of Akira Exhibit. It will be available to purchase initially at the exhibit and then later at my table. In cooperation with Joe Peacock and ToonSeum – The Art of Akira, is an extensive exhibit of original production artwork from the most influential anime of all time. A weekend of special programming spotlighting Katsuhiro Otomo‘s masterpiece, with panels (Saturday at 4pm), presentations and a gallery of works from the largest private collection of Akira artwork. The Art of Akira will prove to be an exciting event for any fan of anime or animation – demonstrating in great detail why this contemporary classic is widely cited as an influence on creators from a myriad of mediums.

Big Damn Heroes Vol 2
I will have limited prints of this and Vol 1 at Dragon Con

CV Thank you!
August 21I just want to take a moment to thank all of you who picked up he CV print, came by for sketches, bid on the TK helmet project! Over $50,000 raised! (Tuskin Trooper raised an unexpected $1200 for Make A Wish!!! Thank you so much!), attended the Her Universe Fashion Show and supported the HU booth, or just stopped by to say hello! CV was fantastic and we had a great time! I think it may be my favorite one yet! I am looking forward to the next one already!
As for now..i have work to get back to and what looks like a cold to shake that hit me yesterday as we were getting ready to leave Orlando. So off to soup, work and prepping for Dragon Con….whew
Thanks again everyone!!
TK Helmet Project
August 2
Here is my contribution to the Star Wars TK Helmet Project for Make a Wish Foundation. I have created a Tusken Trooper.
The TK Project is a charity event for the Make A Wish Foundation. The 501st Stormtooper Legion is inviting our Honorary Members, Friends Of the Legion and a few 501st troopers to create one of a kind Stormtrooper helmets. This project is similar to the Vader Project that Sarah Jo Marks and Dov Kelemer completed.

CIV Print Reservation Update!
August 1Hey folks…
I have to make a request of those reserving my CV print…
PLEASE DO NOT send multiple requests. This is only confusing the situation. We are working hard to get confirmation emails together. But with almost half of the prints being picked up Thursday, please be patient as we compile the list.
Also.. Remarques will be done at the show. Please bring your requests to the show and any reference you may need. Adding them to your reservation may get lost in the shuffle.
Remarques will be $25 for pencil and $40 for b/w markers (I have added the marker option as requested)
Thanks for all your support and we can’t wait to see you in Orlando!
If you are interested in reserving a print here is the information again! Act now!
