Star Trek #41 Behemoth part 1

Star Trek #41 came out this week and it is part one of a two part story arc I worked on with IDW and writer Mike Johnson. You can read more about Mike and his take on the Star Trek universe in this interview from Comic Book Resources. This is not my first time working on the new frontier, but it was still a pleasant challenge all the same. Mike had a fun and fantastic story that I got to work on, including designing aliens and star ships. Below is the character design for The Hunter and his ship The Scarab. In addition I got to design the alien planet, which was a blast.  click on the images for a better view

Here are a few of the interiors pages. Pencils and inks by yours truly.  I hope Star trek fans enjoy the arc as much as I did working on it. click on the images for a better view
