SMALLVILLE DAY!!!!

Here is download information that was  posted by Craig from Kryptonsite earlier this week:

DIGITAL:

- On a tablet device or smartphone, you can purchase Smallville Season 11 using either the DC Comics or Comixology apps.

DC Comics iTunes appDC Comics Android app

Comixology iTunes appComixology Android app

Once Friday rolls around, some browsing should make it easy to find the SV Season 11 comic, as well as many other recent great comics.

If you don’t have a tablet or a smartphone, you can still read Smallvilleon your computer at Comixology.com! You’ll have to set up an account, which is free, but beyond there the purchasing will be the same as with the apps – 99 cents per issue.

PRINT:

If you’re like me and would like to have a print copy in your hands, you can go to your local comic book shop on May 2. Most stores put out new comics on Wednesdays. It wouldn’t hurt to tell your local comic book shop owner that you are interested in Smallville so he or she is sure to pre-order it for you. If there are no stores near you, there are some online comic book stores including Midtown Comics and TFAW.com who should be able to meet your needs.

WHAT NOT TO DO:

Do NOT illegally download or torrent the Smallville Season 11 comic book. A project like this relies on legitimate sales to prove itself as a profitable venture for DC Comics. If people aren’t purchasing it legally, the comics will end. At only 99 cents, there is really no excuse NOT to pay for them, and big sales will tell DC “hey, we want this stuff!” and it would hopefully mean we’ll have many, many more Smallville comics to come.

If you’re new to comics, this might be a lot of fun for you, as you’re entering Superman’s world right as Superman – who we knew as Clark Kent for so long – begins on a new and exciting journey!

Smallville Season 11 coming April 13th!

Bryan Q. Miller breaks down how to purchase your copy of Smallville Season 11.  I could not have said it better (which is why he is the writer and I draw pictures). Please read the blog posted below.

so how do i buy the smallville season 11 comic?

BRYAN Q. MILLER

We're 2 weeks out from the first installment of the Smallville Season 11 premiere, "Guardian," going on-line. If you aren't waiting for the printed version (which becomes avail. May 2), you may be wondering how/where you can find the digi-comic.

If you have a tablet device or smartphone, you'll need to download the free DC Comics (iTunes / Android) or Comixology apps (iTunes / Android). If you're new to these apps, the DC app (quite naturally), gives you access to select DC comics past and present for a per issue fee. The Comixology app is more of a catch-all, multi-publisher hub (DC, Marvel, Image, etc.), where you'll be able to purchase installments of Season 11, as well as MANY other things.

If you don't have a tablet or smartphone, fear not! You can still read the Smallville comic online by visiting comixology.com and opening an account (again, free to sign up, followed by a per issue purchase fee). You will have to enter credit card information at some point, much as you would have to for iTunes. This goes for the app, as well -- it will not auto-purchase each week's issue for you. You will have to stop by the site/open the app every Friday and make the purchase.

In print, you'll need to locate/contact your local comic shop (LCS). New comics always become available (or "street") on Wednesdays. The print editions of Season 11 should be available towards the beginning of of each month (shipping date released when a given month's "solicits" are released online and in Previews magazine), but stock will vary from store to store. Plan ahead! If you don't have an LCS and wish to read in print, shop around online and see where you can pre-order (tfaw.com and Midtown Comics jump to mind as good places to start).

I cannot stress enough how vital it is that everyone legitimately pay for this book. For projects like this, sales are super-important. Please do NOT grab torrents. It's just a dollar a week. If you can't afford that, save your pennies until you can and avoid spoilers. Piracy is wrong. It just is.

Thanks, Gang! Hope you like it ________________________________________________________________

Please look for  updates here as well as Facebook and Twitter Here is the press release from the DC blog:

Smallville Fans Rejoice! New Comic Book Series, SMALLVILLE SEASON 11, to Pick Up Where Show Left Off

Fans of the smash-hit TV series Smallville haven’t had much to cheer about since the show ended its critically acclaimed 10-year run on The CW last May. That’s all going to change with the upcoming new comic book series from DC Entertainment: SMALLVILLE SEASON 11. Written by former Smallville show scribe Bryan Q. Miller, the new digital first series will be published digitally on April 13, 2012, with new digital chapters released weekly thereafter. Additionally, the online chapters will be offered in a print periodical, along with an episode guide to the hit television series, with the first print issue released on May 16.

The new comic book series picks-up where the show left off (with Clark officially now as Superman!) and features other fan-favorite characters including Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Chloe Sullivan-Queen, Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, and General Lane. The book features an all-star creative team – in addition to Miller, SMALLVILLE SEASON 11 creators include print cover artist Gary Frank (SUPERMAN SECRET ORIGIN), digital cover artist Cat Staggs and interiors by Pere Perez (BATGIRL).

“Six months after Clark Kent donned the cape and took to the skies to save Earth from Apokolips… enter Season 11!” enthuses Miller. “New allies abound! New enemies afoot! And old friends return where they’re least expected! Pere and colorist Chris Beckett have done a fantastic job of capturing the look of the show and the players, and Gary and Cat are knocking it out of the park on covers. I couldn’t be more excited to help give seasoned viewers and new readers an all-access pass to Clark’s first year in the cape.”
